Interactive video creation template

     H5P is a simple to use tool to create, reuse and modify various types of interactive content. Though many agree that the technology is simple to use and readily available tutorials make it easy to create interactive videos in H5P, it is not uncommon that users struggle to come up with an effective way to create and present an interactive video using H5P.  

Based on my personal experience and the feedback I received on my various workshops / webinars, I felt there is a need to design a template that addresses the challenges in creating interactive video using h5P. After many iterations and ideas that were discussed in my workshops I came up with this design. I hope this will help many in creating effective yet engaging interactive videos using H5P.


This is a template which can be used to prepare an interactive video using H5P.

This includes a comprehensive list of action items that need to be addressed while creating an Interactive video using H5P


This will help users to plan their Interactive video before jumping into actual creation.

*Criteria on Right / Wrong: How the interactivity is supposed to react when a user / student accesses it? 


Possibilities: 


When a user/student answers correctly/ wrong she/he can continue or we can direct her/him to a certain time code of the video.
